If the disk drive is stuck/not opening, perform a hard reboot of the player. Unplug the player from its power source, wait 30 seconds, and plug back in. This reboot can take up to 10 minutes.
If drive still won't open, use a paper clip to open the drive using the quick release pin hole. This is located underneath the disc drive on the C500 model and behind the flap underneath the disc drive on the C400.
